The player controls Doctor Evelyn Roth, an astrobiologist assigned to Venus after an unusual anomaly is detected. She arrives at Geyser Canyon Station, located inside a traversable zone created by abandoned terraforming experiments. The situation becomes more dangerous when an intruder appears inside the station.

Choices and Consequences

The main gameplay is based on exploration, conversations, and decisions. Choices can change how other characters react to Evelyn and can influence what happens later in the story. Even smaller decisions may affect available dialogue, relationships, and the final outcome. Characters are not guaranteed to survive, and the way the player handles conflicts can determine who lives or dies.

Exploration and Story Paths

Exploring the station is important because new routes and interaction options can be found outside the main path. These discoveries may unlock additional choices during conversations or create different ways to approach later situations. The main activities include:

  •         exploring Geyser Canyon Station;
  •         investigating the anomaly on Venus;
  •         speaking with other characters;
  •         making decisions during conversations;
  •         finding alternate paths;
  •         handling conflicts in different ways;
  •         influencing whether characters survive;
  •         reaching different endings.

Multiple Endings

Project Vesperi does not use a traditional level structure built around separate stages. Instead, progression follows the narrative as Evelyn moves through the station and responds to new events. The story branches according to previous decisions, and some routes or scenes may only appear after specific choices. The game includes more than ten different endings, with additional variations based on earlier actions.

Replayability comes from choosing different responses and exploring alternative routes through the story. A second playthrough can produce different character reactions, conversations, conflicts, and outcomes. The central goal remains the investigation of possible life on Venus, but the player decides how far Evelyn is willing to go to secure the discovery and how humanity ultimately responds to what is found.
