On the Day of Destiny, Bunnyville is marked for destruction by a coming horde of demons. Sephiria follows a small rabbit who enters a mysterious tower in an attempt to change that future before the village is wiped out. Each run sends the hero deeper through changing floors filled with enemies, traps, animals, and bosses. Dying ends the current attempt, but knowledge, unlocks, and new options make later runs more flexible.

Fight Through Six Chapters

Combat takes place from a top-down view and is built around six distinct weapon types. Each weapon supports a different approach and has more than 50 possible upgrades, allowing the same weapon to develop differently from run to run. Players dodge enemy attacks, move between groups, and combine weapon effects with temporary Talents gained during the current attempt. The journey is divided across six chapters containing more than 60 enemy types and over 10 bosses.

Build Around Artifacts and Tablets

Inventory management is one of Sephiria’s main progression systems. Artifacts occupy limited space and can be arranged to create useful combinations, while Tablets modify or strengthen their effects. Deciding what to keep becomes increasingly important as better items appear deeper in the tower.

A run can involve:

  • collecting Artifacts with different effects;
  • arranging them inside the available inventory;
  • using Tablets to strengthen selected Artifacts;
  • unlocking new Talents during the run;
  • improving one of six weapon types;
  • fighting bosses at major points in the tower;
  • adjusting the build when stronger items appear.

Because rewards are not identical every time, there is no single build that works for every attempt. A useful Artifact may encourage the player to change weapon priorities, while a strong Tablet can make an existing item worth keeping for several more floors.

Return With a Different Build

Sephiria is structured as a roguelite rather than a fixed sequence of identical encounters. Enemy combinations, rewards, and build opportunities change between runs, while the overall objective remains reaching the end of the tower and preventing Bunnyville’s predicted destruction. The game can also be played cooperatively with up to four players, where teammates can trade items and revive one another during the journey.

Progress comes from learning enemy attacks, understanding which Artifacts work together, improving weapon setups, and adapting when a run provides unexpected upgrades. The basic loop remains consistent: descend into the tower, fight through each chapter, collect and rearrange equipment, defeat bosses, and try to reach farther than before.
