DEVIL’S LIMINAL follows Margo Silva during the summer before college, when a supernatural problem begins invading a life she was already trying to escape. She wants to leave her Arizona hometown behind, but a hungry ghost enters her dreams and two mysterious girls, Bec and Clara, appear with different ideas about how to help. Soon Margo learns that a demon has a claim on her soul, while events from centuries earlier begin connecting directly to her family and future.

A Summer Shaped by Choices

The story unfolds day by day from June 7 to September 1. The player decides how Margo spends her time, who she trusts, and how she responds to supernatural events. More than 300 choices affect conversations, relationships, secrets, and the direction of the ending, making replaying important for seeing different routes.

The player can:

Ghosts, Demons, and Old Folklore

The horror develops slowly instead of relying only on sudden scares. Ghosts from both the present and the past begin interfering with Margo’s life, while the story gradually reveals an occult history stretching back around 500 years. Portuguese folklore from the Azores and ideas connected to the Faust legend become part of the mystery surrounding the demon and Margo’s heritage.

Relationships During the Crisis

Bec and Clara are more than sources of information. Both can become romantic interests, and a secret route can also be uncovered. Dates, late-night conversations, and more disturbing supernatural situations all contribute to how these relationships develop.

DEVIL’S LIMINAL combines branching visual-novel storytelling with slow-burn horror and romance. Progress comes from deciding how Margo handles ordinary life while increasingly dangerous supernatural forces close in around her. Each route reveals different information about the characters, the occult events behind the story, and what Margo is willing to sacrifice before summer ends.
