Out of Action is a first-person shooter set in a dystopian cyberpunk world. The game does not focus on a traditional story campaign with scripted chapters or a central narrative. Instead, the main goal is to enter combat matches, defeat opponents, improve movement and weapon skills, and experiment with different character builds. Matches take place across futuristic environments designed for fast movement, vertical positioning, and close or long-range firefights.

Movement and Combat

Combat combines firearms with a movement system that allows players to change position quickly during a fight. Movement and timing are important because players can use different maneuvers to avoid shots, reach better positions, or attack from unexpected directions. Bullet-time mechanics can also affect combat, including in multiplayer matches, changing the speed of actions during certain situations.

Weapons and Builds

Players can create different loadouts instead of using one fixed class. Weapons can be combined with attachments, augments, devices, ammunition choices, and other modifications. This allows the same weapon to be used differently depending on the selected setup. Some of the main gameplay elements include:

  •         choosing weapons for a specific combat style;
  •         adding attachments and other modifications;
  •         equipping augments and devices;
  •         changing ammunition and loadout combinations;
  •         unlocking progression rewards and cosmetic items;
  •         testing builds against other players or in offline matches.

Modes and Matches

Out of Action includes several game modes with both individual and team-based objectives. The main structure is based on PvP matches, where players compete against each other using their chosen equipment and movement techniques. There is also an offline mode with separate progression, allowing players to continue fighting and experimenting with builds without participating in online matches.

Progress is connected to player performance and repeated matches rather than completing a sequence of story levels. Players can spend time learning the maps, improving aim, practicing movement, and changing their loadouts to handle different situations. The combination of mobility, weapon customization, bullet time, and multiple combat modes means that much of the gameplay is based on refining a preferred build and learning how to use it effectively against different opponents.
