Agrivore: Incremental Farming is an incremental farming game where the main goal is to harvest large amounts of crops and feed them to the King. Instead of managing a traditional farm with individual fields and workers, the player directly moves through groups of crops and destroys or collects them with equipped farming weapons. Progress is based on completing repeated harvest runs, earning resources, improving equipment, and increasing the amount of crops that can be gathered during future runs.
Harvesting Crops
During a run, the player moves around areas filled with waves of crops. Weapons activate when the player approaches targets, allowing crops to be cut, hit, or shot depending on the equipment being used. The basic controls therefore focus more on positioning and movement than manually attacking every individual plant. Stronger equipment makes it possible to clear larger groups faster and survive increasingly demanding harvests.
Equipment and Skill Tree
Agrivore includes different pieces of magical farming equipment that can be unlocked and combined into builds. Crowns earned during play are spent in the skill tree, where permanent or run-related upgrades improve harvesting efficiency. Players can experiment with combinations that create stronger effects and increase the number of crops collected. Important parts of progression include:
- harvesting waves of crops;
- unlocking new farming equipment;
- improving equipment effectiveness;
- earning Crowns;
- purchasing upgrades in the skill tree;
- creating combinations between different bonuses;
- increasing harvesting power between runs.
Runs and Progression
The game uses a run-based structure rather than a traditional sequence of story levels. Each attempt is another opportunity to collect more crops, test equipment combinations, and strengthen the current build. The King provides the main objective behind this loop: the player continually gathers food in order to satisfy his demand for crops. There is no detailed narrative campaign built around dialogue or scripted story chapters.
As upgrades accumulate, harvesting becomes increasingly automated and efficient. The player can focus on moving through dense groups of crops while weapons and bonuses handle much of the actual harvesting. Progress therefore comes from choosing useful upgrades, creating effective equipment combinations, and improving the amount of crops gathered during each run. The main challenge is to build a setup capable of clearing larger waves while continuously increasing overall production.
