FNF Bikini Horrors V3, subtitled Fiesta en la Piscina, is a SpongeBob-themed Friday Night Funkin’ horror parody created by ChezzarCat. Instead of following one continuous Boyfriend-versus-opponent storyline, the mod is structured as a large collection of musical scenarios featuring altered versions of SpongeBob characters, internet-horror references, and parodies of other FNF projects. V3 expands the project to 45 song folders, with dozens of tracks available through Freeplay and several additional hidden or archive-only songs.
Different Songs Use Different Characters
The playable character changes depending on the track, so Boyfriend is not always at the center of the action. Some songs focus on characters such as Spongephanes, Spongelord, Mermaid Bob, Bob el Triste, or other SpongeBob-inspired figures. Locations, animation styles, and opponents can also change completely between songs. Several tracks parody recognizable FNF horror concepts, including ideas associated with Sonic.EXE, Mario’s Madness, Hypno’s Lullaby, and other community mods.
The V3 content includes:
- more than 40 playable songs;
- a large cast of SpongeBob-inspired characters;
- story scenes and animated transitions;
- songs with multiple visual phases;
- hidden and Freeplay-only tracks;
- changing playable characters;
- special mechanics in selected charts;
- references to other FNF horror mods and internet culture.
Songs Act as Separate Scenarios
FNF Bikini Horrors V3 does not use conventional platforming levels or an explorable Bikini Bottom. Its main stages are the songs themselves, and many of them function like individual short stories. Tracks such as Vash a Morir, Paracetamol, Rent Due, Rumbeling, Powerscaling, Barnacles!, Pool Parti, No Phone Zone, Chromosome, and For You, Someday introduce different characters and situations. Some songs contain several phases or cutscenes, while others change art style or bring additional opponents into the performance before the track ends.
The Rules Can Change During a Track
The basic gameplay still follows Friday Night Funkin’: directional notes approach the receptors, and the player must press the corresponding inputs with correct timing. Missing too many notes can end the attempt, but V3 frequently adds scripted events or mechanics to particular songs. Some charts include route-specific events, unusual visual interruptions, cooperative chart support, or other changes that require more attention than simply following a standard four-direction pattern.
Progress mainly comes from completing songs, moving through the available sequence, and discovering additional tracks rather than improving a character through equipment or experience points. The mod includes 38 songs listed directly in Freeplay according to one V3 archive scan, with several more treated as hidden or archive-only candidates. This gives the project a much broader structure than a typical three-song FNF week, with replay focused on finding extra content, learning individual charts, and seeing how each scenario changes its characters, visuals, and mechanics.
