There is a simple story setup, but most of the game focuses on sorting, searching, and gradually making the enormous library manageable.

Sorting Thousands of Books

Each book belongs to a particular section, with categories ranging from destructive magic to otherworld travel and romance novels. Players examine titles and cover designs for clues, carry books through the library, and place them on the appropriate shelves. The task begins slowly because the player must manually identify where everything belongs, but completed sections make the library easier to understand and navigate.

Unlocking Magical Abilities

Completing rows of shelves unlocks magical abilities that make later stages of the cleanup faster. Instead of carrying and placing every book in exactly the same way for the entire game, players gradually receive tools that improve efficiency. This creates a progression system based on organization rather than combat, experience points, or character statistics.
