Master Lock Simulator is a training game that recreates the process of opening a rotary combination lock. The screen contains a numbered dial, an indicator line, and a lock body with a shackle. Before starting, the player selects three numbers between 0 and 40. These numbers become the combination that must be entered by rotating the dial in the correct directions.

A Single Practice Objective

There is no storyline, dialogue, or character development in Master Lock Simulator. The objective is limited to opening the virtual lock and learning how its three-number mechanism works. The game does not provide a campaign or separate environments. Each attempt begins with a chosen combination, so players can practice unfamiliar codes or enter the numbers used by their own locker.

Reading and Turning the Dial

The player controls the lock by dragging the dial clockwise or counterclockwise. Every number must line up with the indicator at the top of the lock. Direction is as important as accuracy: stopping at all three numbers will not work if the dial was turned in the wrong sequence. When an error occurs, the player can clear the mechanism and begin again.

To enter a complete combination:

• Turn the dial clockwise to the first selected number.
• Rotate counterclockwise and pass the first number once.
• Continue to the second number and stop at the indicator.
• Change direction and turn clockwise.
• Stop directly on the third number.
• Pull or activate the shackle to open the lock.

Master Lock Simulator has no traditional levels, enemy encounters, score-based stages, or unlockable areas. Difficulty depends on the combination selected by the player and the precision required to stop on each number. Codes with numbers positioned close together may require careful direction changes. Repetition serves as the main form of progression, allowing players to complete the sequence with fewer resets and less hesitation.

Learning Through Repetition

The gameplay focuses on memorizing the right-left-right pattern used by standard rotary locks. Players should first read the entire combination, then move the dial slowly while watching the indicator. After learning the sequence, they can increase their turning speed and attempt to open the lock without checking the instructions. Success requires entering the numbers in order, passing the first number during the counterclockwise rotation, and stopping accurately on the final number before opening the shackle.
