FNF Baddies vs Stalker/Cassette Girl/Jazz is a Friday Night Funkin’ story mod divided into three main weeks, each centered on a different opponent. Boyfriend faces Stephanie, also known as Stalker Girl, then Cassette Girl, and finally Jasmine. Unlike mods built around a single song, FNF Baddies uses cutscenes, dialogue, and connected events to create a short campaign. Each week changes the opponent, music, visual setting, and charting style while keeping the standard rhythm-game structure.

Three Weeks With Different Opponents

Week 1 focuses on Stephanie, a fan whose obsession with Boyfriend develops into a conflict. Her section includes Encounter, Insane, Uhoh, and Drift. Week 2 moves to Cassette Girl, with Kagayaku Kassetto, Donnie Soft, and Malfunction forming her main set of battles. Week 3 introduces Jasmine and includes tracks such as Foreplay, Aye Papi, and Xes. Jasmine’s songs also use changing note speeds, forcing the player to adjust to shifts in how quickly arrows travel across the screen.

The mod includes:

  •         three story weeks with separate opponents;
  •         dialogue and animated cutscenes between battles;
  •         songs including Encounter, Insane, Drift, Malfunction, and Aye Papi;
  •         Story Mode and Free Play;
  •         standard directional note charts;
  •         speed-changing notes in Jasmine’s section;
  •         additional songs such as Collapse, Collapse Alt, and Nice.

Following the Notes Through Each Song

Gameplay follows the normal Friday Night Funkin’ system. Arrow symbols move toward fixed markers, and the player presses the matching directional keys when they overlap. Correct inputs help maintain the health advantage, while repeated misses reduce it and can end the song. The objective is to survive until the track finishes. Story Mode plays the weeks as connected sequences, while Free Play allows individual songs to be selected without replaying the entire campaign.

Songs Replace Traditional Levels

FNF Baddies does not use platforming stages or explorable levels. Its progression is organized through weeks and songs, so completing one rhythm battle moves the story toward the next scene and opponent. The three main weeks also have different pacing: Stephanie’s storyline develops across four songs, Cassette Girl’s section builds toward Malfunction, and Jasmine introduces additional timing pressure through changing note speeds.

There are no character upgrades, equipment systems, inventories, or experience levels to manage. Improvement comes from learning the charts, recognizing rhythm changes, and reducing missed notes during harder sections. Players who want to follow the narrative can complete the weeks in order, while those interested mainly in the music can use Free Play to return to individual tracks and practice specific battles.
