Creating Your Own Tournament
Before the competition begins, you can customize the participants by changing their names, pictures, and assigned districts. The standard tournament contains 24 tributes representing 12 districts, although some versions allow larger groups. Once the roster is ready, the simulation starts at the Cornucopia, where contestants decide whether to collect supplies, escape, or confront their opponents.
Surviving Each Day in the Arena
The tournament progresses through separate periods, including daytime and nighttime events. Characters may search for food, discover weapons, receive injuries, or encounter other survivors. Their decisions are generated automatically, so you cannot directly control individual contestants.
Possible events include:
- Contestants forming alliances to improve their survival chances.
- Battles that result in injuries or deaths.
- Characters gathering food, water, and equipment.
- Survivors abandoning or betraying their allies.
- Environmental hazards affecting the remaining participants.
- A feast bringing contestants together near the Cornucopia.
Following the Competition to Its Conclusion
As the tournament continues, the number of surviving tributes decreases. After each period, you can examine what happened and see which characters have died. Special arena events can introduce additional dangers, while the remaining contestants continue competing for survival.
The simulation ends when only one tribute remains alive. You can then review the results, including the winner and the events that determined the outcome. Hunger Games Simulator also allows players to create custom events in supported versions, changing what characters might experience. Starting another tournament with the same participants can produce a completely different sequence of alliances, confrontations, and eliminations. The main activity is watching these randomly generated stories unfold and discovering who survives each competition.
