Wonderland is a cooperative horror adventure on Roblox developed by ScaryPlay, the team associated with The Mimic. Players enter a children’s amusement park created by a character named Wonder and must find a way to escape. The environment contains playground structures, carnival attractions, puzzles, hostile creatures, and characters who may provide assistance during a run.

Escape From the Park

The main objective is to explore the park, complete required activities, and survive encounters with monsters. Wonderland can be played alone or cooperatively with a group of up to five players. Team members can separate to search different areas, but staying together makes it easier to solve coordinated puzzles, share information, and help during dangerous encounters.

Randomized Challenges

The game does not use a completely linear level sequence. Locations, events, puzzles, and enemy encounters can change between runs, preventing players from relying on one memorized route. Mini-games block access to new sections or provide resources needed for continued progress.

Challenges may include:

  • activating levers in the correct order;
  • navigating mazes and unfamiliar areas;
  • completing platforming sections;
  • solving sequential environmental puzzles;
  • escaping enemies during chase sequences;
  • collecting Tickets for the Wonder Shop.

Tickets earned during a run can be spent on equipment that supports exploration and survival. Available items include navigation tools, healing supplies, weapons, and objects used during particular encounters. Players have a limited number of lives, so careless movement or failed challenges can end a run. Learning monster behavior and deciding when to use purchased items are important parts of progression.

Controls and Survival

On PC, use the standard movement keys to explore, the mouse to control the camera, and the assigned interaction button to activate objects, collect resources, or begin mini-games. Mobile and console versions use corresponding touch controls or controller inputs. Manage stamina when sprinting and avoid using all available energy before a chase begins. Search each area for useful objects, watch for environmental clues, and communicate with teammates when a puzzle requires several actions. Wonderland contains flashing lights, loud noises, and jumpscares, so headphones improve directional audio but may make sudden sound effects more intense. Completing a run requires puzzle solving, route planning, resource management, and cooperation.
